So to add to the "interesting/disgusting fried food" debate, take a look at what they're serving up on <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1041266/Scorpion-kebab--Its-fast-food-Beijing-style---But-Olympic-visitors-stomach-it.html" rel="nofollow">Snack Street in Beijing</a>.

I thought the flavors would combine to create one uber-snack, but the reality was that it tasted like someone put a chicken breast on a donut. Disappointing to say the least, but luckily I was able to wash it down with a yard long margarita and the intoxicating sound of Weird Al piercing through the 110 degree heat.

Based on my extensive knowledge of fair foods, thanks to Unwrapped on the Food Network, I can tell you that successful, normally delicious fair foods are born of neccessity. (For instance, the ice cream cone was created when an ice cream vendor ran out of cups at a fair in St. Louis.) I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how slapping together two donuts with a ckicken patty is a solution to anything. Even hunger! Big ups to Matt for trying something new, but let's try to learn from his lesson. Chicken + donut = does not compute.
