Recipe: My kind of “sparkler”
Thursday, July 2nd, 2009While at Sunset magazine’s celebration weekend, I was treated to a drink I just have to share. It was the best cocktail I have ever tasted (other than merlot, of course)! Here’s the recipe just in time for your July 4th celebrations:
3 oz. Pinot Grigio
1 TBLS Simple Syrup
1 TBLS Lemon Juice
–pour into martini shaker over ice, then pour into a martini glass. Add a TBLS of Chambord (pour it slowly down one side of the glass so it pools at the bottom), then top it off with Brut Champagne. It’s amazing! Crisp, cool and not too sweet! Enjoy!
