Eldorado Stone Rocks the Block

Eldorado Stone recently partnered with esteemed designer Leanne Ford of  “Restored by the Fords” for HGTV’s “Rock the Block” series. The series, which lasts only four weeks, presents four designers, including Ford, a design challenge to square-off with each other to max-out identical properties. The competition takes place in the Los Angeles area and each designer is given $175,000 each—with the goal to add the most property value to each home.

While all the designers are talented and created unique visions for their spaces, Ford’s use of 300 sq. ft. of Eldorado Stone’s Lucera Hillstone on the back wall of the kitchen stands out amidst the competition. Spanning the entire length of the kitchen wall, the stone veneer is light in color (due to a custom “grout wash” applied by Ford), yet provides a sense of weight in the space that creates a feel both contemporary and timeless.
